I have a feeling Nas isn’t interested in working with 9th. Especially if it hadn’t happened by now

Madlib is in my top ten but I don’t want to hear him do an album with Nas. This album shows how important it is to bounce ideas off your producer, switch things up, learn, grow etc. Madlib would give Nas a bunch of loops and offer limited constructive advice/criticism/etc.

Same. I’d like to hear Nas on one or two Madlib beats before he retires, but I’d pass on an entire album.

It’s not even just that. Let’s say Nas had the whole Bandana album worth of beats. People would say Nas picks wack beats I swear to God. Lol.

At this point I dunno. I hope they wouldn’t. The production on this is fire and lost tapes 2 was from a wide span of years and that production was well received.

Even the Nasir production wasn’t hated too badly imo

It’s weird. I can’t consider LT2 an album on my mind. Not like the first one. The first one was recorded over a 3 year period. Nit to mention the perfect sequencing.

LT2 was recorded over a 10-15 year period. Anything with that long a time span I just can’t think of as an album. And I love LT2.

I prefer the beats on LT2 over this one but I prefer the beats on this one over untitled. Nas the goat regardless but if he can clock time in with hit boy he better honor Preemo soon. I like the album but the RZA and PR beats on LT2 are better

The production on this reminds me of the games album born 2 rap. Nas sounds immaculate as always and makes the album more listenable for sure it's also better than jay's attempt at relevancy with MCHG what feels like decades ago
