He was spitting but that beat could have been better. Honestly streets disciple and hip hop is dead are the only albums that sonically could have been better for nas. They both had selective dope songs though.

It’s a very consistent album. Anytime I randomly listen to a song, I end up just going ahead to listen to the whole thing. It’s a very easy listen.

"Not Going Back" is dope. I notice that people tend to dislike the Nas tracks where Kelis does the hook.
Nas has made worse songs than "You Can't Kill Me," but I have no desire to ever listen to it. "Blunt Ashes" and/or "Hope" can go.
You Can’t Kill Me is one of only two songs I don’t like on Hip Hop Is Dead.
Especially now that I know Vernon Family was recorded during the HHID sessions. That song should have 100% replaced You Can’t Kill Me.

The OG hope is one of Nas’s best outro’s. I wish to High Heaven that sample could have been cleared
