Where is the vinyl?

Oh for sure. And I think that's why the first album furthered his legacy. Cause even though the quality was a little watered down. Nas was still able to do something that not a lot of artists from the 90's have been able to do. Which is adapt his sound and make an album that could be appreciated by newer generations. He floated on the trap beats and showed his versatility in that sense.

Now with this new album I'm hoping they found that middle ground. I don't mind some trap and new age tracks. But also wanna hear Nas snapping on some breakbeats again. And I think they're gonna do it. I got a feeling this is gonna be crazy too.

But he snapped on the trap beats. 27 Summers and Spicy were fire.

What slowed the album in a good way depending on how you look at it, were the relationship songs in the middle of the album.

personally I want to hear harder songs regardless if its break beats or trap. I just want to hear the God snap like on Blue Benz and The Cure.

I think Crooked I is on the same shyt. I’m sure I’ve seen him talk about quitting drinking or doing it very rarely these days and his new “vice” or thing to splash out on is cigars instead of expensive liquor.

I don't drink and I don't smoke but on special occasions (mostly vacations on hot places) I treat myself with a good cigar and some whisky. I can't separate the two

I actually really like those songs in the middle. The diversity of the album was a strength imo
