Nas had bad timing because Kanye comes out with Donda tonight and everyone is more Kanye obsessed.

Nas is #4 on Twitter WorldWide Trending.. which is pretty good for an artist in his 31st year.

Lauryn Hill smoked her feature on here. She sounded crazy dope and her voice is very preserved.

This album is very good and exactly what you want to hear from somebody like Nas at this stage of his career. Only complaint I have is I’m a bit disappointed that that wasn’t Curren$y on “Composure” like somebody else said that intro sounded exactly like him

I gotta revisit LIG then I was under the impression that was the beginning of his modern more slowed down approach that was most evident on kd1

Compared to the King’s Disease series, hell naw

Nas takes a lot of pauses & breaks after bars now.

But it doesn’t take away from the fact that this album was sonically crafted to perfection. Nas voice still sounds great, but he just raps a lot slower & less technical than he used to

This a little different. Sometimes you just know. I’m not a Nas Stan at all and just expected this to be solid but didn’t get crazy expectations.

you can tell this is crazy special as soon as you hear it
