Hit-Boys stock has jumped significantly. Between both KD albums, Burden of Proof and a lot of the other stuff he’s created…..I hope he mixes it up and does full projects for others.

He did Nas, Benny, Big Sean, and I believe Dom Kennedy last year.

Thats four full lengths in one year:whoo:

I’d LOVE to see what kind of work a Hit Boy produced Raekwon album would sound like.

Also him and Freddie Gibbs is rumored.

It won’t happen but Kanye could REALLY use him right now..

The sequencing is so good. In an era where albums are just a collection of songs to stream, they dropped an album that feels like a journey. The intro feels like an intro is supposed to feel. Next few tracks hit you hard in the face. Middle tracks have a mellow vibe with nostalgia themes and the love songs. And then the end is like an emotional rollercoaster with the last 3-4 tracks hitting you in the heart/brain.

This is spot on, accurate description. shyt is just cohesive, and just flows. Everything in it's right place. A complete, immaculate puzzle.

I would honestly rather Rae with Alchemist, Madlib, Harry Fraud, even Roc Marci, etc etc.

Hit Boy can sprinkle bits of all of their styles in what he’d cook up for Rae PLUS Rae would get more of a commercial boost from the association.

If Rae announces “OBFCL3 Produced By Hit Boy” it automatically becomes one of the most anticipated projects of the year. All the hipster publications of the moment (Complex, Pitchfork, etc) would be covering it. It would be a true EVENT album.

I agree 100%, and I think this is what Hitboy's rant where he shyt on Kanye is really mostly about. You can tell he gets emotional just talking about what he did with Nas cause he knows how much work went into every little detail of it.
