Is Murda Muzik better than IWW? And does the rap community need a spinoff thread breaking down why Prodgy & the Mobb are better than Nas?



Cuz I'd certainly argue that P is involved in more legit classic than the ones that Nas gets handed by his stanbase out of the keeping up with joneses inspired by Hov.

especially if we talking about music made in album form after illmatic to takeover.
then, takeover to the present....

I will take prodigy's one album bad piss poor outing on the mob deep sellout record.
versus all the sellout moments of nas, which includes ushering in jiggy as a technical submission rhyme wise.

if someone wants to get tabled....
they can try to compare and lose trying to champion nas's discog over prodigy's.

Ok. As a Nas fan, you're overrating IWW and Lost Tapes which is a compilation and not an album. And you're underrating ROTM which has actual classic tracks as opposed to everything Nas has done since Stillmatic (Gods Sons is a great album tho).

The fact that the entire rap world agrees P fell off after takeover and were arguing about if he has more dope records than Nas, the Coli GOAT and greatest lyricist ever should tell you all you need to know about Nas' output.

Mobb Deep is a duo and their 3 best albums have shyt loads of features, so it's not like that was all Prodigy.

This is Nas, not comfortably, but definitely noticeable.
