Able to spit beautiful poetry while conveying great emotion in his delivery and envoking groove and emotion from the listener with this project

lets put the hype into perspective here.. the drought from the last decade has left us grasping for an experience that cements this legacy/era of hiphop







This is one of my fav Nas albums. I used to say Jay was better than nas but when I go back to listen to old albums I can't even finish some of jays shyt unless nostalgia get me through it.

Musically though, TPAB is a breath of fresh air. It sounds like it's own album.. It sounds like something that's been done in the past but not like the album that came out last week or is coming out next week. Glad he tried to step out from the status quo and take a chance. It's not a classic though.
