Meet Joe Black is cool but I think both Nas & Hit were one notch lower on this track than for the rest of the album. That crazy hook carries it tho!

A lot of people favorite track is meet Joe Black which is shocking to me. I thought it was easily the weakest on the album. Everything else is either a 5 or 4.75 lol Just a ridiculous album.

I feel like Meet Joe Black is one of those songs that can instantly get someone's attention and draw them into an album, and once they really get into it they realize there's a lot of other songs that might be better (kinda like Got Yourself a Gun). It's a dope song though.

the chorus pulled me in as always good to hear arrogant cocky Nas. But yeh it’s a lite version of 40-16 and the Truth.
