Even Nas tossed that shyt in the bushes

Most nikkas in the thread got it damn near at the very bottom of their Nas album lists

I was kinda expecting a low number cause he dropped it as a surprise during the holidays when people are busy with family and other stuff but hopefully people get wind of it. I think KD 3 sales should be up. KD 2 had a bigger opening week than KD 1 so hopefully the buzz keeps going

Why does everyone have to hate nastradamus?

People "hate" Nastradamus because it could've been better. Nas had so much music that was hitting on mixtapes that was far better than what was on that album that didn't appear on the album it was disappointing. Also like @up in here said the sequencing was off which could made difference as well.

"Project Windows" is hands down one of Nas's best songs, but as a whole Nastradamus is a mess of an album. Hip Hop Is Dead is easily better. It has:

that’s a fire playlist right there. How anyone can say it’s his worst album at this point is beyond me. Yeah it was his worst it dropped cause he only had illmatic, it was written and I am…, but it was never bad like people say. It’s still a good album, just not as good as his first three.

Same thing with Streets Disciple.... stripped its just as good as his best.
SD has some of his creative jams and best tracks.... the title track alone is fit to be in his top 5

Nastradamus was the reason Takeover hit so hard.

If this goes unchecked Nastradamus will be declared a near classic by next week.

@BigWebb79 makes a good point that supports my early comment, saying that during the Nastradamus era, there were so many better tracks and beats that Nas recorded and appeared on mixtapes. Regardless of the leaks, which might not have been as well known at the time, people began to believe that he, for no reason, just picked what they perceived to be the worst beats for the Nastradamus album. We now know of the leaks and him rushing to record more.

Somebody in here mentioned Nas' achilles heel is slow beats because he raps to the drums...it made sense generally, but "Testify" is lowkey a Top 25 Nas song ever and that shyt is madd slow. So is "You Gotta Love It".

I am and lost tapes 2 are mad underrated on most of the list I see. Untitled way too high and people forgot how life is good was the first nas album to shut down the nas can't pick beats narrative
