What? I mean all of the praise and mentions it's getting on social media...that doesn't match 35k right? Doesn't it feel like it should sell like 400k first week from all the love and attention it's getting from everyone? Exactly.

The 35k just shows you that the 25+ crowd aint really buying albums like that. I won't front, I didn't even buy it myself until last night, only because I felt bad, lol. And I'm a super stan.

He’s on pace to sell 60k first week. This is just 3 day sales. The thread title is misleading.

I honestly haven't see it get much attention from people other than older members of the media on social media, it is getting praise but only from the same people that listen to anything Nas does anyway. :yeshrug:

it definitely don't feel like a 400k+ album release on social media

7 days his streams are low so unless people are buying the album he's not selling another 20k in 4 days, the 1st day is usually the largest stream and sales day then It tapers off throughout the week

Not true. And ur thread title is a little misleading. This isn’t what he’s on track to sell for the week. It’s what he’s sold so far.

More artist have been pushing over 100k 1st week these past 5 years then since the death of the CD due to MP3s. Streaming revived the business,
