I don't get it. CTG is a Nas fan and Envy is from Queens. Seems like it makes perfect sense. More sense than giving interviews to snake ass Rosenberg, who has said weirdo shyt about Nas for years. Breakfast Club is an easy 500k views in a week.

I’m not sure. The only thing I can think of is although CTG and Envy declare themselves big fans they NEVER go out of their way to correct or refute false info that people put out regarding Nas.

Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles said that when he was managing Nas he was responsible for Nas’s only number 1 album. Which is ENTIRELY false and easily corrected. Envy and Charlemagne said nothing.

Elliot Wilson went on the show and legit asked everyone present who was making better music between Nas or Jay-Z. Both Envy and Charlemagne said Jay-Z with NO hesitation.

When Jay-Z was on and they were talking about the battle and Angela made the comment that the battle didn’t hurt either of their career’s Charlemagne piped up “It HELPED Nas!” furthering the notion that Nas was “done” before the battle when he was still a multiplatinum artist.

So even though Envy and Charlemagne claim to be fans, they still play sides

Ebro and Rosenberg do the same, always favoring Jay, and Nas gave them a interview.
I just think he don’t want to go into the chatty patty shyt the BC like to go into... and they would probably bring up Kelis shyt

Im suprised they got the Killers predicted to sell the same, they still on a major and had a single that came out 6 months ago. Maybe it speaks more to the industry tough to predict trends

But Rosenberg has said worse. He worships Jay and acted like Ether was nothing. He’s always trying to solidify his nerd rap credentials by taking shots over what rap nerds were saying about Nas x years ago. Even during their recent interview the energy seemed off. Rosenberg wasn’t saying much. He did say the album is great on twitter though.

Everyone wants that brunch invite so Hov will never get clowned. He could drop the worst album ever and many people would stay quiet.

Despite the severity of the standom exhibited here sometimes, I might go ahead and cop the shirt/album bundle (wish it was shirt/cd). I don't know if I love the album enough to cop any of the physical audio stuff but the vinyl, cd and cassette look so beautiful.
