just saw this in another thread, or maybe it was this one. hilarity

......she said that when she was with Jay he'd ask her weird questions about her and Nas, like what positions Nas liked to hit, and weird stuff... she said Jay-Z was obsessed with Nas

she said in Jay's Manhattan apartment Jay had a huge vinyl collection of rare Nas singles

when Nas found out about Carmen and Jay-Z, he keep trying to get Carmen to give him Jay's address but she wouldn't because she was afraid of what Nas might do. So Nas and whoever he had with him went to the next best place to find Jay, ROC-A- FELLA records. When they got there they called upstairs and Dame answered and said Jay wasn't there, so Nas told Dame to come down and he said he couldn't cause he was there with his son

the black cat is my crown...
ya'wl all know me, i try to be as unbiased as possible... weighing all considerations, impact on the culture, beats, flows, concepts, etc... it's a complex formula ya'wl.... selecting a goat is never a flippant consideration.... it always involves plugging in many variables... that said though, and after all the computations have been compiled i can come to only one conclusion....

:ahh: is the goat... indisputable... and the facts back up my assertions... esco, let's go!

I think Nas definitely has the greater discography, especially with his contributions the last 3 years.

With the MC’ing, they both have different attributes that they’re excellent at, it’s hard to compare them kind of. It depends on what you’re into more when it comes to rapping, if you like the wordplay and punches and slick shyt you probably prefer Jayz, if you prefer writing and storytelling and the more introspective type stuff you probably rock with Nas more.

Can’t go wrong either way, 🤷🏽‍. I prefer Esco but one thing I always gave Jayz super points on is how natural he sounds rapping, like I can tell he doesn’t write it when I hear him, it just flows natural. With a Nas, a lot of times I can tell he’s reading a paper or phone, may be just me, 🤷🏽‍♂️

Although i think jay make better music and those hitboy albums did nothing for Nas catalog and added no value to it
