shyt like this is part of the reason behind people complaining last week. No bridging the gap between generations, no younger rappers getting the chance to be with the older rappers and doing something different from their usual work. They're feeding into the divide.
I been saying this shyt for the longest. It be a lot of behind the scene shyt going on with these labels that keep rappers from different generations divided. The labels don't want to see younger rappers talking to one another or seasoned ones b/c when they do they start seeing how they contracts are fukked up. It get to a point where the labels want the younger rappers to shyt on the older ones for hating on them getting money. Its been going on for years. Same game pimps play. MonoNeon can now say he’s a Grammy nominated bassist for his bass work on the song “All Bad” with Nas featuring Anderson. Paak and the song “In My Bones” with Jacob Collier. Congratulations to all the artists and musicians that are 2021 Grammy nominees!
Dywane Thomas, Jr. also known as MonoNeon, is an American bassist and experimental musician. He is known for his presence on YouTube playing bass guitar and known for being one of the last people to work with Prince. Thomas also played with Grammy Award-winning R&B artist, Ne-Yo, on his fourth studio album. He is a native of Memphis, Tennessee
