lil baby cant even string words together coherently and pop smoked got smoked, so not sure why you're furious.

Nas been getting snubbed for decades. Them lil nikkas will be allright.

They should wipe their tears with their louie Vuitton hankerchiefs

thats exactly the problem. the gatekeepers/old heads don’t get to decide what’s fair and what isn’t based on the type of hip hop they prefer or dislike in the culture.

the nominations are fair, or they aren’t. and there is no way in hell anyone can say they’re fair with baby, roddy and pop ALL on the outside looking in.

it’s the same unfairness that’s to blame for nas not having a trophy, and nicki/50 not winning best new artist in years they should have run away with the award. and it’s kinda trash that some will ok the slight because nas, Gibbs and Royce got acknowledged.

I love Royce. Royce does not deserve to be anywhere near this category. It’s not his best album. It definitely isn’t one of the best of the year. The reason he was included is part of the problem.

I believe we are at the point where people like Nas & Royce shouldn’t even be in the same category as Lil Baby & Roddy Rich. They need to split genres but no one knows how to do it at this point.

They don’t need to split genres but they DO need another category within the genre

Pop, Rock, and Gospel have different categories and Rap outsells ALL of them genre for genre and is certainly more popular worldwide.

There needs to be, in addition to Best Rap Album, a “Best Traditional Hip Hop Album” category as well. Let the kids (who really only care about streaming) mumble and autotune their way to the Best Rap category whilst lyrical purists like Nas, Jay-Z, Jay Elect, Push, Common, Royce, etc compete in the Traditional Hip Hop category

You’re showing the same entitlement you’re complaining about.

No I don't, if they put out dope album's they would of got their flowers also
they got their flowers from the actual people and culture who catapulted them to star status and collectively determined that their albums are the best shyt to drop this year, not from some out of touch old cacs in the grammy committee

nas hadnt won a grammy up to this point in 30 years and that was a tragedy and you didnt have that "if it was dope he woulda got his flowers" energy when he kept getting snubbed, now all of a sudden yall wanna act like its law because u like the nominations this 1 year since it caters to your taste as opposed to the taste of the average everyday listener in modern times

I understand you feel connected to EM.

I mean white people and those who hang around white people like EM it’s to be expected.

Does it mean it has much credibility no, cuz white People also made Vanilla Ice a Platinum artist simply based of his appearance and the shock of seeing a white man rap.

How would you know this:sas2:?

And

Why do yall keep thinking Em has no black fans?

Em doesnt care about awards, Grammys, why is the coli on his ass/clowning because he wasnt nominated, to be hated so much yall find a way to put dude in the mix ALL of the time:mjlol:

Breh shouted Alchemist and Royce with a congratulations/is obviously extremely happy for those fellas:gucci:

shyt with Royce getting nominated maybe this well get Em fully back to making organic music again.

Are Lil Baby and Roddy albums better than Royce's?

Are you saying they deserve to be over Royce because their music is more in tune with today's youth or because they sold more or because they're better? Or all three? Or two of the three?

Genuinely asking, not trying to be funny.

And Grammy's rap album lists have always been pretty random. Tyler, The Creator won last year and his album not even really a rap album lol.

Y all acting too unstable with a Lil Baby snub. How did fans of Nas, Pac, Big and others felt for 20+ years over snubs that happened annually at The Grammys? One year aint gonna hurt, and Lil Baby needs to improved his craft a lot more before he has an argument to stand on.
Nikkas was mad back then and we mad now

Stfu he don’t got improve shyt hating ass old nikka u know nothing about his music you can’t feel it and you can’t relate to it because you old he’s extremely talented

With the exception of the D smoke shyt (i never heard it) this list for rap album of the year for the Grammys is the first in a while where I heard all of these albums and enjoyed it.

Will download this d smoke album and load it up for later listening on this drive to my folks house.
