Away from that though Mass Appwal aren’t great marketers, they still operate as a boutique label who care about the art more and that’s why we can get great albums from the mikes of Mobb Deep and De La Soul which major labels probably wouldn’t put out in 2025, it’s somewhat refreshing.

It’s not gonna be 5k but it’s really not the same. The Clipse album had singles with Kendrick Lamar. Was promoted and had bundles being sold like a year ahead of the album. Without the bundles the album did like 30k which is still good. The album was better. It had FAR more promotion they was literally on one of the dopest promo runs in recent history. They was beefing with both Drake and Travis Scott. There was mad different variables surrounding that album.
