NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
game dissed Eminem the highest selling rapper. Did he do 100k?

y’all can’t accept Nas music ain’t hitting for shyt no more.

the clipse with promo is selling 23x better than Nas is blasphemy

Nas sell 20k that still 5x less than the clipse. And the clipse album had legs. So that bundle talk mean Jack shyt

Nas shyt gonna be out the top 200 next week
Game isn’t Nas. Game is looked at as mentally unstable. Why are doing this? U have a mental illness man and u been going for almost a week about an artist u dont claim to like. This is weirdo shyt.

ok but whos fault is that? like that shyt MATTERS today...look at the clipse project

look, outside of the budden interview (which was great) and some promo on nba cup...there was 0 promo 0 vidoes 0 single 0 interviews.....

to me as a massive nas stan, that sucks man. Nas has so much stuff as his disposal, treat a release like it matters man!

Its his fault... I wish they would have put in a effort in promoting the shyt because I hate seeing art being sold like cheap.. LIke nikkah this is NAS AND PREMO.... Make your fans purchase that shyt or feel like they own history

Put out one single/visual
another street single
then later upon release

I would have pressed up physical copies, Sold it with a merch, sold autograph copies and put it in the retail stores and at concerts. then LATER put it on streaming...

As I said, Jay, 50, and Diddy did crazy damage to the minds of rap fans in the post Pac/Biggie era with their emphasis on sales, charts, and money. And the Internet made it worse.

That's a topic for another time though.

Jay-Z, Diddy, and 50 Cent made hip hop more numbers and chart obsessed in the post Pac/Biggie era.

And it only grew with the Internet.
How did Jay and Diddy do it? Lol. Don’t think I’ve even heard Jay dissing someone for selling less than him or him saying he’s the best cause he sold more than someone. Puff I believe only talked about hits, cause naturally his job was to make hits not drop bars. But I’ve heard Nas diss people for selling less than him though.

And Pac was dissing the hell outta Big for selling less than he did from jail.

People talking about no promotion when they’ve kinda promoted it after the release and I don’t know why people are saying cheap release either with all vinyl. Albums get sold and streamed worldwide too so I don’t know how billboard counts American sales to those.

Im not sure why this thread is still going with no actual number. It speaks volumes to how people can just say a number and run with it
