all facts. Like watch him drop something with other producers and they gonna compare. Those that have now fallen in love with hitboy are gonna say he needs to go back to hit. They stuck…. I feel way too much attention is on the producers Than the artist. I don’t give a damn if he works with hitmaka… if nas does his thing, I’m with it….

He needs to go back to multi producers album to avoid that. And bring two or three hit boy production in the process

Nas should work with No ID and Salaam Remi again, just like on Life is Good, but exclusively those 2.

Atleast ur honest. Nas needs to drop an album. Say Hit Boy wasn’t involved and not list who produced anything. Because people are more concerned with the names than the music.
Imagine getting to produce music for Nas but not being able to tell anybody. :usure:

I'd bet money that if we get another Nas album in the next couple years it'll be produced by Hit Boy. I'd also bet on Nas starting work with another producer before coming back to a more comfortable arrangement with Hit. I just don't get the impression late 40s/50yo Nas is interested in being asked to redo vocals, do additional takes, etc. "Record and go" was clearly the motto for these recent albums, for good and bad. Flip side Premo said it took awhile to track down Nas to get him to redo a take on that Break Beat song they did. I just don't think he's interested in working like that anymore, which means all the older producers people list (Premo, Salaam, No ID, etc) aren't gonna work out. We'll probably never hear that recent-ish shyt he did with Dre for this very reason.

“Premier album still might happen” wasn’t a throwaway line I don’t believe. If Nas is thinking enough about working with Premier then being “guided” by him wouldn’t be a problem. Hit Boy himself has said he’s told Nas to say certain lines over or take certain lines out.

The shyt with Dre ain’t coming out because NOTHING with Dre ever comes out lol. Plus Dre caught that aneurism and almost died. The plug chick and the leaker from Reddit both said Nas isn’t finished. They both have even hinted that something else is coming pretty soon so we’ll see. I don’t think the wait will be as long as even a year.

Changing some words and trying flows is different than redoing verses though. You can hear the punches on these albums. It’s not as wild as say a Cormega album lol but it’s quite noticeable. It’s a faster way to record but I can’t imagine those other producers being cool with it.

I could see Alchemist letting it fly, given his work over the last decade. I can also imagine a younger producer like Metro working similarly. So if it’s not one of them (or someone similar) it’ll be Hit IMO.

If you had to bet do you think we get a new album (with any producer) before October 2024? I don’t think so personally. I can imagine a Lost Tapes tho.
