I almost want to instantly defend Lupe here cuz of the hate. Right now, I think rapping comes too easy to Lupe. The only issue is probably conveying that into music again.

There are slaughterhouse throw away tracks that have lyrics
just as hard.
If we're going to talk about excellence on the part of Lupe fiasco
then look no further than his first two albums.
He has whole songs that are fleshed out from beginning to
end that fit into whole overarching themes that shyt on a mixtape track.
