He's top 5 All Time to me. But he wont be remembered as a huge Mega star more than maybe considered GOAT by devoted Hip Hop fans and Jay will be viewed overall because of his achievements. It's like how people call Ali the GOAT, but actual fans of the sport will say Sugar Ray Robinson was GOAT. It's subjective at the end of the day so

sad to say but the only way nas will get his just dues is when he passes. people for sum reason dont fully understand the complexity of his rhymes and the creativity of his verses.

Unless Jay dies a day afterwards...then everyone would go back to not giving a fukk about that nikka.

He seriously lacks the back catalogue and made too many mistakes. Nas had the most potential out of everyone but he blew it.

I love Nas and no doubt when he's on he's ON but he's lucky to be top 5 imo.

Nas has the best chance to rewrite the biggest "L" on his resume: the weak albums after IWW. To me Life is Good was the beginning. He clearly has more good to great albums in him, he just needs the right production.

I think he was somewhat able to do that already, starting with Stillmatic. God's Son was decent too...and then there wash the Lost Tapes :ahh:...then there was Street's Disciple :scusthov: then there was Hip Hop is Dead :ehh:

I wouldn't really say that everything after IWW was whack. I would more say that Nas fluctuated in terms of overall quality of his albums. I do agree however, that Nas hasn't ever been in the same form he was on IWW, and LIG is the closest he has ever been in a long time.
