For all you physicists on here what are some of the challenges of making a warp drive?
just from a biological perspective, inertia, even if the craft can stop itself after going at that speed, your body is still moving at lightspeed in the craft, you'd be vaporized and splattered all over the ships interior when the ship stops. they're testing out a solar sail for space travel that would allow you travel at 1/10th the speed of light, but it's all theoretical.

we already know the maximum g that humans can remain conscious in and the g that we can physically remain in one piece in, so we would have to go into and out of warp at one of those rates depending on the availability of suspended animation

in addition, we can hope one day that cryo may increase that acceleration.

Maybe dude trolling, but the illusions he may be speaking of (I don't know what his exact thoughts are but I've heard of this style of thinking before) deals with how majority of matter is actually empty space in comparison to each atom.

Basically saying that by all means when you touch a table, due to the space of the atom you technically should past through it and it is actually your mind creating the illusion of an object being "solid".

or maybe he trolling?
