Been eating Mexican food all my life, surrounded by Mexicans all my life. :flabbynsick: nikka through and through. Never heard of that shyt until this decade. Now all the restaurants got big ass signs for it. fukking birria ramen and shyt. That shyt was not worth the hype.

birria ramen & sandwiches are tiktok shyt that is not legit food… just hype shyt

but birria tacos and birria/goat birria is where its at

My family is from Philly and they visit all the time.

Last time they came out they were all hyped about coming out here and trying birria tacos.

I'm from Cali and had them shyts all the time so I didn't understand where it was coming from lol.

I'm guessing social media has to do with it's recent popularity.

You probably like white people 'tacos' with just beef, chicken or if your daring some sort of pork (for all you swine enthusiasts).

It's like Asian food. Back in the 50s Americans weren't fukkin with Asians so Asians fed them fake recipes with chicken or beef and called it Chinese food. And even then Americans being racist and scared of their own shadow thought they were eating dogs or cats or people.

Then the sushi wave hit. Then social media hit, now people are more daring and I'm willing to risk abd try new foods. This shyt ain't new though.
