He hasn't been the same since he tore his ACL

Was trash with Denver last season, got traded to the Clippers and got hurt there, started this year off with New Orleans and was so terrible he got waived like 2 games into the season.

I used to be a big fan of Nate but that injury pretty much ended his career

ehhh ACL isnt a big injury anymore, ur usually back at 99% in the 2nd year.... and how could he be trash after only playing 15 total minutes and getting released? he had 8 points and 1 turnover? that was just a bullshyt move by the Pelicans

Nate's in his 30's, not 20-21 like Jabari Parker. He shot 35% in 44 games since tearing his ACL. He's always been a defensive liability due to his height but if you can't put the ball in the basket either, not sure why it's a surprise teams aren't that interested.

I always thought he'd have been way more successful as a corner instead of playing basketball.

He would have made a lot more money too.

He might get a workout, but nobody will risk signing him at this point in his career.

Why is he doing this, he can't get a job playing ball overseas?

Prolly not, football is very physical, who knows how his body would have held up,basketball was the right choice IMO

What's his 225 rep numbers?
Squat?
40 time?
5'8 180 is big for a basketball player, but small for NFL and even smaller because he's BASKETBALL strong, not FOOTBALL strong two totally different types of strength

LOL, no it's not, the hell you talking about?

Nate Robinson is/was way more physically suited for the NFL than the NBA.

He was playing cornerback.

You don't really get tackled playing corner, because your job is to cover the receiver, then tackle him if he gets the ball.

There are actually corners smaller than him currently playing in the league.

With his speed, explosiveness, ability to turn his hips, I think he had a good shot to make millions playing football. Especially if he was projected as a 2nd round pick.

His body is less suited for playing basketball. Dude has been jumping around from team to team on minimum contracts...should have played football IMO.

You could be right but he got 11 years out the league, chances of him doing that in the NFL were small.
