Y'all talking bout he would've made more in the NFL? He's made over $24 mil in the NBA. Trace Wayne's just signed a 4 year 13mil deal as a 1st rounder. He'd have needed 3 it contracts to reach that

Corners make a lot of money in the NFL. They're actually one of the higher paid positions.

H'es had minimum contracts the past few years, and he's been out of a job for a while.

Some corners make 9-14 mil a year.

I always thought he should have played football instead, but hey, he still made a lot of dough playing ball.:ld:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
@Malta what do you think his chances are? Being an athletically superior basketball player and all :troll:
Imagine a 11 year nfl vet trying to go to the nba :mjlol:
:scust: nfl taking nba scraps. Handegg is so dismal
:troll:

An 11 year NFL vet is lucky to walk & remember his own name, meanwhile Nate has full clarity and wants to try a childhood dream because the Global game has fed him and kept him safe :blessed:

baby, that was the old me
Damn he couldnt even make a Chinese basketball squad :dahell::mjcry:
I always thought he'd have been way more successful as a corner instead of playing basketball.

He would have made a lot more money too.

He might get a workout, but nobody will risk signing him at this point in his career.

Why is he doing this, he can't get a job playing ball overseas?
:mjlol:Marshon brooks avgin 35 a game overseas

Y'all really gonna question Nate like that?:usure:

The Pelicans had 0 PG depth to start the season so they pit Nate Robinson vs Ish Smith, both fresh off the scrap heap to see who they would sign. Ish was pretty much the death blow to Nate's career.

What's his 225 rep numbers?
Squat?
40 time?
5'8 180 is big for a basketball player, but small for NFL and even smaller because he's BASKETBALL strong, not FOOTBALL strong two totally different types of strength

It's like you didn't know that Nate played CB in the pac-10 and still holds the Washington HS state record in the 110m hurdles

He's a corner, how much he can bench/squat mean next to nothing.

He's 31 now though breh, not 18,those records mean nothing far as helping him get into the NFL.

The Truth
I'm not sure why people really think he can't make it on a special teams squad or be a nickel/slot back

This is a dude that blocked both Yao Ming and Shaq and played PROFFESSIONAL ball at the highest level and did it very well.

He's not some random rugby player or dude. He is still a freak athlete who playing minimum time on the field could be possible especially if his numbers are good

Now he has tape for arena or Canadian football! ...if he can't get a dime or nickel spot...or ST spot.

Speed, turn hips, track the ball. As long as he can do that he got a shot. And plenty pros can't track the ball, lol.

It would be cool to see. First NBA/NFL player in what... 60 years or whatever. I'm rooting for him.

Not gonna happen.

But still rooting for him.
