Going from a non-contact sport to a contact sport isn't good for the joints. Whether he's in it for the money, the fame, the glory, or just a lofty personal goal, he's going to get hurt.

I wish AI had kept playing football. He was built like a great corner. There's no doubt he would have made the league IMO
YOu got me wondering if we will ever see a two sport pro athlete in the NBA and MLB..

Whoever pulls that off will have to be a genetic freak of nature

Both of those sports require too much skill training. Which means too much time has to be dedicated to both sports to play them at the highest levels, no matter how much of a freak you are. Plus the extensive schedules.

I don't think there's enough time in the day to master both sports like that, and even if you did, nobody wants to waste a roster spot on a part time player:ld:
