these people work just as hard as any schlub sitting at a desk job posting on the coli :rudy: give them their fukking money. i don't even eat fast food but everyone deserves a decent wage.
It has nothing to do with how hard you work but demand and supply. Their labour is plentiful supply so they get paid less. Simple economics breh :wow:

Getting a better job is as easy as paying $250 for a 2 week certification to work a trade. These workers dont want to do that but theyd rather waste time and energy trying to organize and protest a flipping burger wage that they can get a 15 year old teen or an undocumented mexican who cant speak a lick of english to do.

and you expect me to support this defeatist mindset? If you have a family to raise get a better job, again its as easy as getting up a couple hundred bucks and getting a certification in a trade.

Why you posters support your people settling for crumbs in a nation where they were born grew up and educated in, is beyond me:beli:

But somehow supporting blacks anchoring themselves in the most base job sector is somehow black empowerment and pride:shaqlaugh:

Many of you guys in here don't understand negotiations. Do you REALLY think they expect $15 an hour? NO

They need to set it that high to even get 10

They could easily pay them 15 an hr. But can the small soul food place pay the same as McDonald's?
And guess what will happen that small soul food place will have to shut down because they can't afford that 15 hr.

A few smaller restaurants are actually leading the way on this by paying $15 an hour, it can be done, anyone saying it can't be done, is just repeating tea party blather.

These people haven't negotiated jack sh!t in their lives. They don't even realize the implications that a minimum wage hike has on their negotiation position for their own jobs. They don't even understand their value as human beings. They're stuck on that slave sh!t. They don't understand that the basic rights they enjoy as workers were fought for with blood. Yes, blood.

If they could pay us less they would
If they could get away with NOT paying you they would... and they do.

They call it "internships."

The American worker will wake up one day. And when they do it won't be pretty.

Yeah or a "Stipend" (If people on here have heard of the word before)

Many in here have college degrees and don't know a damn thing. It's quite pathetic tbh.

Can you believe some idiot in here claimed to have an MBA yet hasn't even taken an entry level economics course?

I swear, these nameless faceless trolls are so dumb. They really think they're smart by sh!tting on McDonald's workers as if they can't be replaced with a few phone calls.

I can believe it as many people bypass anything that has to do with mathematics.

The problem with people is that they view fast food workers, janitorial services, and most labor work as "beneath" them. The insecurity is hilarious to me and it's a bit weird to me how many of these companies just don't get it.

If McDonald's were to raise their floor pay to about $12 an hour...several things will happen.

1 - The amount of employee turnover will decrease significantly. This will save money on training employees, paying people overtime, and boost morale immediately. You might even be able to finally get people a stable work schedule instead of the bullshyt many fast food and low paying jobs do in where they stick you at whatever position is available and can change every 2 weeks or "split shifts"...you will NEVER keep quality people under those conditions.

2 - The quality of workers you will have will increase. This doesn't necessarily mean smarter people working at the place, but the effort will go up dramatically. Your fries will not be as burnt, you will always get the ketchup packets asked, the amount of ice requested will likely be followed more attentively. The mangers will be better as a result as well...the problem in most McDonald's establishments is management...A person being responsible for so much deserves to get paid more. It is often shown that when people earn more money they will "willingly" take their job home with them. They will think of ways to improve work conditions, try to boost customer satisfaction and also submit ideas to corporate as to what is working and what is not working instead of just submitting numbers. This will be at no additional cost to you...the conference calls are not needed...most people don't pay attention during those phone conference calls anyway.

3 - The customer will be happier as the quality of service will go up, meaning more repeat customers and larger orders if things continue to go well

Most of this country doesn't know anything about economics or work conditions...no wonder we are in the situation we are in.

It's almost like the Nigerian lives in his own world where he's a successful and dynamic young man making things happen and not in our world where he's seen as a massive joke and a complete fukking idiot.:mjlol:

Lol. Biggest bullshyt ever. You talk about economics yet you don't know what the fukk you're talking about. It simply boils down to the fact that these jobs like I said earlier are extremely easy to get. It simply doesn't make economic sense for McDonald's to pay them that high when the number of people willing to these jobs are plentiful and it's extremely low skilled.

Also the talk of happy employees and getting better service?:russ: It's not a fukking five star restaurant breh. You go there, order your food get served, eat and get the fukk out.
