True, our names are gone, but we still have a spoken language, its just that we (black americans) don't speak it. The vast majority of our ancestors most likely spoke some dialect of Swahili which is still widely spoken in Africa. Hell, most universities offer it as a second language too. The only reason why I didn't take it is because its not practical in the business sense, most people that speak swahili can also speak english its not a language commonly spoken around the world (like Mandarin or Spanish) and I wouldn't have anyone (where I currently live) to speak to in that language so i'd just forget it anyway, lol.
