Naughty Dog’s 2nd unannounced game has been in development for 3 years

Insomniac aside… They have been a multi-game studio for a while….

Death Stranding was in 2019 - death stranding 2 is 2026, thats 6 years.

Suckerunch is doing a sequel, and its 5 years, (along wiht legends 2) so thats their one game this generation.

ND, even with a major cancellation they’re probably gonna have 2 games out by the time ps6 releases. And let’s face it ND kind of sets the bar in gaming, they can be afforded more time.

I think most people were reasonably expecting a new ND title by now, in 2025. Same with GTA VI but it's Rockstar so they kind of got that w/e take as long as it needs to be. We're possibly a year away from Square announcing a new remake and part 3 for the trilogy with a release date before we get Intergalactic lol.

I personally put ND on the same pedastal as Rockstar and they’re making a new IP, they’re afforded more time

They're too good a studio to be making 5 and 6 sequels. We need new IPs.

Low key I hope they bring back Jak & Daxter but that's probably a long shot.

I don’t think it makes sense to do two new IPs. They probably want to do one new one and maybe bring back Uncharted on PS6 launch. It would be a safe bet, one for the studio and one for sony

i think the 4th season of the show is going to be everything that happens in california/santa Barbara. If abbys season is as long as Ellie’s, plus the big fight stuff, they probably aren’t gonna have time to do the last section.

I wondered about how they were gonna squeeze the whole cali thing into the third season too.

It just feels like shyt ain't moving as smoothly as they could.
Sucker Punch dropped Ghosts in 2020 and we already got a confirmed release date for Yotei this year.
Death Stranding was in 2019 and we got the sequel coming next month.

Insomniac dropped Spidey in 2018, Miles and a remaster in 2020, a new Ratchet in 2021, SM2 in 2023 and we know Wolverine is in the works.

It just hasn't been good no matter how it's spun. I know it takes time but still. Rockstar too.

Wouldn't be such an issue if they actually released Factions.



The fact that they just abandoned TLOU multi player, that gameplay just going to waste.



We can't even get a remake of the multi player from the first game.

ND has been a disappointment this generation.
