When you sign your life over, you are no longer a civilian with the same rights as the rest of us. Like I get it, but also this gesture is really meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
No one but her is going to be affected by this. At least with Kaepernick it led to some outcome IE: donations to social programs etc.. her being military changes everything.. She played herself.
And a lot of idiots in this thread calling people names for criticizing her.. yeah cause an empty gesture for a few days of social media attention is worth ruining your life over

Im just saying, we always talked shyt. My brother was a Marine and i was at mostly joint commands.. So I had Army, AF, Navy, and Marine supervisors/coworkers... We stayed talking shyt but it was in fun.
Same with other rates. We would talk shyt but still hang out outside of work, on liberty, on the smoke deck, etc
Sk's/LS's stayed getting shytted on for walking around with a clipboard skating in other departments
I barely even hung out with my own rate unless they was my nikkas..
EVERYONE hated IS's though.. Some of the most pampered nikkas in the Navy. Them and CT's aside from CTN's and CTM's
