think fox was a better pick for them than monk at that spot....anyway, it's just the start of his second year, and this was only the first game...he may show that improvement the rest of summer league....think he still got time to be that consistent jump shooter i think he can be...he def needs to start shooting more mid range shots though....

Hield's problem is that he WON'T just be a shooter. He got the idea in his head that he can create his own shot and he's just never gonna be that type of guy. He needs to learn how to move off-ball, take smarter shots, and look to exploit matchups. His handle is cute, but he's slow as fukk and his shot's actually pretty slow.

Ehh dude played really well after being traded to Sacramento (15/4/2 on 48/43/81 in 29 minutes) and it's literally a SL game :heh:

Kings traded the 10th for the 15th and 20th I mean, they could've just drafted Monk with the 10th. I wasn't paying attention to Justin Jackson (15th) but his stats looked pretty good at least :ehh:
Giles didn't even make the team though.
I just thought they should've stuck with the Fox - Monk backcourt.

Well they figured they'd go with depth (Jackson) and upside (Giles) instead of a known commodity that'll overlap with Hield. They did the right thing. They just need to hope WCS becomes Deandre Jordan and find their wing of the future and they'll have a solid treadmill going that'll bring pride to the organization and the city of Sacramento :obama:
