I still don't like the justification for the Russell trade. Russell had above average vision as well, the overall team ball movement could've been really something special.

Ball - Russell - Ingram are all very solid passers.

Only rational explanation is that maybe they want to develop Ingram at SG to take advantage of his height/length.

No. I actually watched him in college. He's a poor slasher, always has been. Lacks shiftiness in his dribble and doesn't have an explosive first step. Also not a great finisher. He barely slashed in college, and he's barely slashing now in SL. He's a pretty good spot up shooter but his jumpshot is fundamentally broken and doesn't work going right. Dude's offensive game is LIMITED...keep thinking he's just "playing within the flow" out there. If he could get a bucket he would lol.

He needs to look to score when he gets in the lane though, every single time he's gotten there he passes.

Yup, that's the main knock I have on him offensively. He doesn't like to draw contact for whatever reason.
