In the open floor Lonzo has burst and long strides. He can get from end to end quickly. In this game we saw Lonzo have a quick, low crossover blowing by dudes. At UCLA he was a lob threat on the break and had plenty of powerful dunks.

Why do people want him to be a bad athlete so badly :heh:

Because his dad is "arrogant".

1st Round Playoff Exits

Man people can hate duke all they want (Lavar) but he has made a living without spending a cent on advertising at the moment. If he were to really put the resources into an internet marketing team to scale up his business he could easily quadruple whatever he's making right now over night.

He's had close to 2 million visits to his site in the last month. All organically, through no advertisements.

I remember checking his site back in Feb. and he was only averaging like 2k visitors a month....

The Truth
You think he's playing conservative? I really think he's still adjusting to the speed and physicality of the professional league. I totally believe he will adjust in due time, because he has a natural enact drive to get better...
Hes still playing with mostly college nikkas so I don't think its that AT ALL.

I think he's playing extremely passive if anything, more worried about getting other people shots since thats his biggest hype

Lonzo has elite top line speed but I was worried about his 1st step quickness.

He was looking good today consistently beating guys off the dribble:ehh:

Basically got wherever he wanted but settled too much for kick outs. Needs to develop his mid-range offense (very doable).

His passing instincts are special. Once he gets that floater and pull up going it's a wrap:banderas:

Tatum is one of the smoothest, most complete rookie scorers I've ever seen. That footwork, jump shot and fade away had me:whew:
Tell @Roddy Right this since it seems he missed this game as well

Crazy is that Lamelo seems to already have that 1v1 package people are expecting from Zo... But theyre 2 totally different mentalities of playing. Zo has never looked to score aggressively

And I completely agree on Tatum. Its just SL but he stands head and shoulders to me than most on offense. Dude can score. He will benefit Boston immediately on that end

It was a joke breh. He does got the Kobe feet. I'll give him that but he's not Kobe athletically. Not at 19.

True. But he's also 2 inches taller than Kobe and he's longer. That should help him compensate for not being the athlete Kobe was.

In the end, I don't think Tatum will be as good as Kobe. But he'll be a top 10 player in the NBA during his prime. He'll probably win a scoring title. And he'll go down as a Hall of Famer.

That would not be a bad career.
