NBA 2K is so shytty now

Man STFU with that bullsit. 2k14 is easily te most realistic B Ball game ever released on current gen and next gen. The biggest problem with gameplay is the 3 pointers going in reguardless of defense. Other than that, 2k14 is easily the most balanced sports game ever. You cant cheeze in any other way but the 3's

I still play 2k11. 2k12 was trash, 2k13 played liked 2k11 but with improved controls, now 2k14 plays like 2k12, crazy easy to steal you see ppl just running up to you swiping at the ball yet no fouls...shyt is a 7/10 this year for me

Damn breh lol. You feel that way about offline human vs. Human too? I agree about online being trash though..that slight lag ruins the realistic strategy of ball.

its better offline, but the animations you get trapped in is garbage. especially since these muthafukkas said 'its a brand new engine' and the same shyt that used to happen in current gen, happens in next gen.

You gotta hold the left trigger/L2 when guarding a nikka

If you stay in front of your man and time it right you can get a steal or block damn near every time

I love the defense in this game...I remember last year you couldn't stop dudes no matter what you did

You can actually lock nikkas down this year

Not when the ball handler changes directions though. L2 locks you in.
I always use my help to recover but it's a problem when I can't stay in front of Andre Miller because the floor is spaced out

This. Lebron is actually human in this game. Plus the passing is so much better with the option to bounce pass.

Had to switch my game play out for 2k14 next gen.

Tried to run with Lebron like i always do found out they made the heat team hard as fukk to use.

I already got the game late so i had to leave my king behind and switch to running with the pacers.

Since then i been on a 10 game win streak.................

I don't know breh maybe its different than Xbox but I don't have problems staying in front of the ball handler

When they change directions I do the same and cut them off from blowing past me

If the defender you're using has good speed and a decent on ball defense rating dudes like Andre Miller shouldn't be blowing by you

Also don't forget to use turbo too...it helps with lateral quickness when holding L2 and helps you stay in front of the ball handler
