Removing the one dribble pull UPS was easily the dumbest shyt 2k has ever done. I used them bytches all the time, they were great for 2k13 (eventhough most nikkas never used them), the ability to go one way then use that one dribble to create space for a pull up was the shyt. Even the CPU used it which actually made them take mid range jumpers.
I get so fukkin bored playing the CPU cause a nikka like Jordan, Kobe, or Melo never takes a jumper from triple threat or off the dribble. I hate when the CPU does a nice ass move, creates space for a jumper, but yet forces a pass to the paint or continues to try to drive. Makes playing the CPU garbage, thats why I cant touch my player or mygm. 2k13 had the most realistic playing CPU in sports game history. Melo would beast from mid range, i will never understand how the devs never noticed that players like Melo, Durant, Jordan, ect are useless as the CPU cause its hard coded for them to NEVER take contested shots off the dribble. The crazy part is, if the shot clock is winding down they are great with creating shots from mid range. This is something that can easily be patched, but dumbass 2k fans wanna complain about headbands and sock colors.

The game started being shyt when all they concentrated solely on My Player, sad to say.. Online is trash but I still play it from time to time to waste time, and Its the only sports game I theres for me to play right now (I don't play FIFA).
Why do people keep defending this game? It is AWFUL and obviously rushed. They pretty much added some pretty graphics, a few animations, and did some work to MyPlayer. I still don't know how people can say the "defense is on point". What game are you playing?.. Crowding my the player I'm controlling and reaching for days isn't defense. When I'm controlling my center and someone drives with a good dunker and I get pushed back for no reason, isn't defense. My controlled player biting on up and unders/pump fakes when IM controlling him isn't good defense. Most players online, just drive and kick out..why? Because the help D slider is turned all the way up.
For the offense as everyone knows the 3 point slider is up way too much. Superstars still have a force field around them..It makes no sense when I'm in position to block LeBron but the defenders arm magically stops attempting to block. The random turnovers is poorly done. I get screwed for making good passes but yet some retard gets away with poor decisions all game long. The fouling needs some tuning as well.
My biggest problem with the game online is that this game is so for anyone to pick up and play honestly. You get rewarded for playing dumb basketball. 2K, please add lobbies so I can play HOF vs experience players and not get matched up with 0-5 players every game that just want to use the top teams. My goodness. SN: Before anyone says I can't play the game, I've been playing 2K since Dreamcast.. I'm not new to the series. I will get you out the way with the Bobcats.
I know it's the first year of Next Gen games so I'll give them a pass for this game. I expect a much much better game with 2k15, it shouldn't be much of a port.
You nikkas complain too damn much, yes the game could be better but so could damn near every 2k that comes out. I'm like 95-50 online the game ain't hard at all. Like many have said the defense is on point this yr. Its easier to double team now, and nikkas cant just dunk over 3 defenders no more. Most nikkas that complain about defense usually dont play onball D. You have to this yr especially since the 3 pters are crazy this yr. I dub nikkas regularly bcuz they cant score on me. I suggest u nikkas having trouble playin D practice, or play my player.
They even got oops down this year. I threw a lob wit CP3 to Blake from damn near full court last night

MyGM is so tedious now that I have to play every game in order to get any VC and the fact that it's needed to develop players now is bullshyt. I used to be able to get through seasons rather quickly but that's damn near impossible for me now.
Also, the scripting on this game is fukked up as well. When you're playing on Superstar and above, it's pretty much a given that the opposing team will go on a run in the 4th and it'll feel like you can't make a shot at all.

Its always nasty when you pass it to your dude and they do some dirrrrty shyt. My nikka Lillard just got an and 1 on some shyt that really had no business goin in and had me like
me and Lillard as the 1 & 2 is nasty as fukk. There is no point or shooting guard. Both fit both roles automatically its dirty
