Second, the reason they get away with that and its not considered gambling is because 2k, like other companies, has a stupid convoluted currency system where you have the option of earning the MT points to get packs and other crap. Yes you can buy it with real world money via VC but the MT points you can't so 2k has the out with hey you earn this in game by playing so its not technically straight gambling/loot boxes. Its dirty but hey don't like it don't buy it. This dudes losing their minds over gaming which at the end of the day is trivial and also optional is lame

The big concern is how this game is marketed to kids. They don't have jobs so the have to get the money from their parents to participate in the pay to win mechanics. Which is unnecessary cost even after paying $60 for the game itself.
