I'm hoping hooks are good. They've always been awkward for me, like how do you get open for a hook shot? Or do you just hit that shyt in their face?

You have to be skilled at post control/moves in general. Get the match-up to bite, or make a sudden move that they didn't expect. Roll to the opposite side of the bite, and take the shot. If your player is high rated, he can make half the shots in the opponents face, but if you're playing 1v1 or 2v2, 50% isn't high enough to rely on.
