All of those who played when Webber was around talk about how great he was. They may not have feared him, but they knew he was going to work. By comparison, no one feared KG either...which is why he didn't do that barkin ish at other top dogs. Shaq, Barkley/Malone and their crop, c/o '93-'96, all mention Webber being a beast. Those are the facts. As for Reggie, the most anyone says about him is his ability to consistently make tough shots while carrying the offensive load for his team. He's only praised because of that, and they don't say anything beyond that.

Kidd is only underrated by young people. He's a Top 5 PG. Paul Pierce is rated where he should be. Kawhi isn't being underrated. He has essentially 4 great years and 6 role-player to good.

As for Dwight, it's his elders that don't think he was at least up to their level. Not a single one of them. He's in based on how the media viewed him and will vote, but name any big from the past that has given him props? By comparison, they love Embiid and Giannis, even if they feel they take too many Js at times. Nash is the other they like but don't love. They definitely feel like he didn't deserve an MVP, let alone 2.

IMO Vince and Tmac are underrated, mostly by this young generation. The only knock on Vince real time, was that he was soft. Oak once said if you gave him a good elbow, he was shooting Js rest of the game. Hell, he said that as his teammate. Cyber-Toine, KJ & Matrix are underrated as well....Mullin, KJ & Matrix criminally, while they aren't Top 75, they should be viewed higher. Mullin is borderline Top 75. He'll more than likely make Top 100, if no this lst.

I agree mostly with what you said, you agreed nobody was actually scared of webber though, he didnt have as good of a career as KG at all... people respecting you aint the same as someone being mad they gotta play against you. Webber doesnt even have a healthy enough career to consider, he had a million shots and he blew every single one of them while under performing and barely if not ever playing a full season healthy and leaving NBA early. Just jamming him into a top 75 is forceful, there's way too many actual players who had a full career and won. If we speculate heights of careers, we might as well throw Drose and Penny in off rip.

reggie is being overrated in my opinion because while being a legendary shooter, and carrying his team which is admirable ... he never quite broke through. I cant jam him into a top 75 when there's better choices like Kawhi floating around. I'd still put Reggie over Webb because Reggie stayed on his squad and made it over and over. Just as far as impact goes with Reggie's records and deep runs show he's got the 39 year old career and heart to fight for it. Webber aint touching his depth or records so that offsets itself if we both agree Reggie is where he needs to be.

I agree with you with the Kidd shyt, I was old enough to see rookie Kidd and shyt. I wouldnt put him in top 5 but I also wouldnt be mad at all for you saying that.. He's a floor leader, defensive wizard, one of the best passers of all time... took multiple teams far and won with a full career.

I say Pierce is underrated because people pretend like Pierce aint one of the most clutch players of all time. People didnt grow up and watch the struggles and the Antoine Walker Celtics etc. Pierce has been cold his whole career all the way till Washington, he's slow and awkward but he's too clutch and brought his team a chip. People act like Pierce is like CJ Mccollum or some shyt (No hate to CJ I love his game) Pierce is way more Lillard than CJ with the stripes backing him up, he went through all that shyt.

Kawhi is underrated to me because he played his position. I shyt on Lebron but he's top 10 to me. Kawhi gave Lebron hell early... he was a main piece of really fukking up Lebron's career. Not only that, he got flack and finally left and then carried Toronto to some clutch ass basketball and defensive leadership. His chips on spurs, whatever you want to call them... role playing you said... that's cool. But you cant really take that other one away from him... not many people besides Bron and maybe a few others just won on a different team like that. You cant argue people who never made it against a dude that won with multiple teams.

Dwight I agree completely on. I give him props because he's a beast and anchored the magic forever. His injuries set him back and I think he would have had a better career if he wasnt being iced out and acting goofy. I've always said he's still a reliable asset. He went through that whole era where he demanded the ball and wanted to shoot babyhooks and it fukked him over. Nash is whatever to me, I'm biased ... he's my favorite... we eat dikks over and over I know. He carried and lead a team to multiple 50 win seasons, I dont think he deserved both MVPs over Kobe that one year... but he was still in convo at least. Id say he's fringe but his leadership and efficiency puts him over the other fringe dudes who didnt sniff deep runs (pause) or have some of the most efficient seasons in basketball history

Dog I love you for the next couple statements honestly ... I had vince where he was because he was kind of like a PG character. The dunk contest elevated him way higher but he wasnt hearty enough to carry a squad in real time. He is amazing and a very underrated dude but I cant put him on the killer list. T-Mac is unfortunate, I'd say he's like Cwebb but higher to me, his knees gave out and Yao got fukked up... Rockets should have 1 ring, its a shame because it would have changed his perception... reminds me of Dominique alot. I say I love you cause you brought up Mullin, Toine, KJ and Matrix...all them dudes are crazy underrated. Mullin was one of the dudes I say that I didnt even 2nd guess if he was gonna make it on the next 25. KJ is CRIMINALLY slept on, people barely even mention him. There's so many dudes who only made it close a few times and just slip away into history. I do agree with you about the Dwight shyt too, I think Embidd will easily pass him by the end... his game is way more refined and he anchors shyt at the same time

I'm not judging based only on perception and media likes though, at this point I'm looking at how far they got and if they carry numbers that open eyes. Alot of dudes get kind of deep but dont have the consistency to match others. Even today if I was like "T-mac was almost unguardable, he's one of the most dangerous offensive players in history" I still couldnt rank him above Kawhi because he completed the mission. Personal opinion aside I would just have to put Tmac lower in the category of the dudes who didnt make it. If Dirk lost to Miami in 06 or whatever and then never went back I'd be just placing him in barely right now too. But with that actual win I gotta easily put him over.

just to shake shyt up I'd put Pau over Cwebb, I've called Pau a bum on this website too and argued it. But Kobe wouldnt win with CWebb in my opinion... Cwebb just never had the type of game that was gonna change shyt like Pau did. He is close but I could argue a million reasons why he's at the door and people would call me a dikkhead etc
nikkas forget about Alonzo and Payton etc ... CP3 is up there too. (just saw cp3 made it) that makes sense CP3 lead his team deep and into the finals last year. He's consistent even if he never wins he's always been right at the door. Kidd Vs CP3 would be an interesting convo... Kidd had an underrated career very early and all throughout... Cp3 had almost as decent of a lifespan really. Both dudes are animals really.
