Obviously Shaq should be 1st team.

Dirk should clearly be 2nd team.

I would also put KG as 3rd team PF, but I somewhat understand going Giannis (I’d also put Giannis as a SF, so he wouldn’t make it either way)

Kawhi is the clear #2 SF. We gotta stop with the putting KD on the edge of Lebron/Kobe & Wade tier of guys.

With that said KD is the clear #3 SF.

It’s wild that Harden could legitimately be considered the #3 SG. Such a wide gap. I guess I can say the same for Howard & Centers.
Dirk has to be 2nd team this list is awful

He led Mavs to two finals with Josh Howard being the second best player and Jason terry being the second best player

In a tough tough western conference every single year

KG and Giannis both should be in front of Dirk.
If you put reality of the outcomes over potential and who you 'think' may be better head to head.......I think Dirk's case at #2 PF behind Duncan is pretty clear.

Took his team to the Finals in the West in '06....in that run he beat Duncan....who has a strong case for top 5 players all time, and best PF ever. Who people have as the clear #1 PF in this very thread.

Then beats Wade & Lebron, two who are solid names in this very list, 1 being a consensus top 5 player all time, plenty would even say top 2. Most people would say over the course of those 4 years, Heat were an all time team. And that Wade & Bron were both actively top 3 players, top 5 at worst in the league.
In this run he also went thru Durant, who plenty in this thread are saying a clear #2 only behind Lebron.

In both cases, he did so without a true great player (not somebody so past their prime) playing next to him. He did it with fukking Jason Terry.

Giannis on the other made his run in a weak era/East.

KG did go on to get his ring with Pierce & Allen.....but while we can all respect the fact that he really tried to make it further with the Wolves on his own.....the West just had too many all time elites....we gotta acknowledge that one of the times that KG got bounced out the first round was done by Dirk.

You can say this is overvaluing playoff success due to team constructs, but what Dirk did the 2nd time was an all team feat. And the 1st time, was amazing too because of the fact that he overcame Duncan.

KD IS A BETTER PLAYER THAN BRON PRIME FOR PRIME

WE SAW IT WHEN THEY WENT HEAD TO HEAD IN THE FINALS
Who has KD ever led? What pressure has KD had on him? Oh, when he had pressure he couldn’t handle it and deserted his HOF teammate in his prime to join a team that already won WITHOUT him.

I love him, but KD isn’t better, at…all.

Okay but lebron still led the 2016 cavs to a ring. That wasnt a superteam

More impritantly KD went to a golden state team that literally won a ring and almost went back to back befire he went there

You already know this broski
2016 Cavs was a another LeBron created super team

I’m confused. Do you all think basketball is played one on one??

JUST LIKE MIAMI WON BEFORE LEBRON GOT THERE

:sas2:

KD WAS THE LEADER WHEN GS WON

WHICH IS WHY HE WON FMVP BOTH TIMES

The Miami team Lebon ran to wasn’t nowhere near a championship caliber team. And that Heat team didn’t beat Cleveland to go to the finals. Total difference.

KD wasn’t the leader, he benefited because he had no pressure. Also FMVPs doesn’t determine who the leader is. Iggy won FMVP and he wasn’t the leader.
