Shaq was that dude since Day 1 in the league. And has 4 rings in this quarter century. And Joker couldn't guard him.

Dirk went to two finals and won 1 without a Superteam. He also was one of the few who played well vs KG head to head. Dirk proved he could carry a team. KG is more complimentary.

He def played C at times, but won multiple rings with David Robinson playing the 5 along with other sorry centers they had playing the 5 too while he played the 4 most of the time. He's the GOAT PF.
4 rings is a team accomplishment, which is why I said individual peaks. Too bad Jamal Murray isn't Kobe. Shaq isn't guarding Jokic either.

Unless we're gonna revise history, 2011 was more about what LeBron didn't do than Dirk being Super Saiyan (specifically in the Finals, he was not). Dirk won his ring dependent on the breakdown of the best player in the world that this board will never stop screaming about.

He also needed a very specifically built team. KG carried much worse teams than Dirk and was a more complete player. Dirk captured more of the imagination for his time but was not a better overall player. Minny fares worse with him + the same rosters while Dallas is equal or better with KG and their rosters.

Duncan stylistically was a C and only played PF because Robinson existed. Outside of the Spurs and Lakers and NY/HOU holding onto past-prime Ewing and Dream, Duncan begins his career at C anywhere else. That duo was 6 years of 20 and most of Duncan's career minutes are at C.

As I said I understand it's not a popular opinion so having him where he is isn't "wrong", but I'm not gonna be convinced to grade him at PF, I never have.

If Jokic wins another ring, certain sections of the media are going to try and push him as the GOAT.

Can't put TMac over Kobe, Wade, and Harden (he's 3rd team you missed it)
Deron can't put over CP3, Nash, Steph. Dame would probably be 4th after those 3, then maybe Deron.
CB4 - Timmy, Giannis, Dirk gotta come first. Even KG would be next after those 3 :yeshrug:
Melo is the hardest at the 3 with Bron, KD, and Kawhi. He'd be next in line though after those 3 at the SF.
I loved Deron Williams play style but there’s a decent amount of PGs over him. You got CP3, Nash, Steph, Russ, Dame and Shai. Then Chauncey, Kemba, Ja Morant, Gilbert and them as debatables. Also I’d take John Wall over Deron tbh

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
Them MVPS must hold so much value with y'all, russ ain't no perfect player, but I'm not taking Nash over him. :mjlol:

Imagine Nash in Westbrook position for that 2016-2017 OKC Team.:mjlol:
Dudes will say anything to downplay Russ. I wish he never played with the Lakers. That’s when the narrative about him started going overboard. Never with any other teams but the Lakers, he was seen as a bad teammate. I wonder why.

Deron was the only one who outplayed CP3 on a regular. Dunno what it was, but he gave CP3 fits.

Deron is another guy where you can tell if someone was actually there or not by how they talk about him. In the late 00s Deron vs CP3 was a hot debate with a lot of folks going with Deron. He just fell of quick as hell so people forget.
