It should just be the best 24 players in the league straight up. fukk conference, fukk position. The new format still helps to create a stronger team then the East would have put together though.

Kinda dumb, but considering the piss poor level of the east, it's a change that could save the all star game for a few years until some stars head back east.
I just don't like the idea of the most vote getter selecting the teams. I think they should let the TNT crew choose the teams, that way it doesn't put the players in a awkward situation with other players in the league. Do a special open court and let all of them put together the teams.
