He ain't wrong. You can tell he got paid and mailed it in as far as development. He is more worried about chasing hoes. A real ball player would have worked on getting some type of shot.

At the least he could have a 15-18 foot jumper at this point to keep the defense honest. I personally wouldn't expect him to ever shoot more then 2 or 3 3's a game but he doesn't even want to reach that level of consistency. Most players at this point in their careers would have showed some type of commitment to getting better but Ben seems happy being what he is.

That's why I don't trip when people call him overrated.

I don't think he's overrated. I just think he is who he is. But people tend to throw out his defensive prowess a lil too casually to try to overcompensate for the fact that he's not that good of an offensive player.

Unfortunately, we've yet to figure out if that's truly the case as the dude doesn't even put forth the effort and try. I think people would respect him more if he at least tried to add a 3pt or jumpshot to his game and failed rather than him barely try at all.
