Tbh I don’t think a lot of “NBA fans” even like basketball. They treat the NBA like it’s some reality tv show on E network. They don’t show up until there’s something gossip related. A lot of NBA fans favorite time of the year is the trade deadline and free agency.

But for me I love the pace of the game. Seeing a team play good team basketball is beautiful to see. The passes, the timely cuts, making the extra pass to the open shooter, Defense flying around is poetry in motion

The bucks
watching teams play actual defense/offense
black men making guaranteed money
skills/3/dunk contest
playoff games (these playoffs were lit but nowhere close to chi vs boston series way back when)
people score in the paint
Giannis bulldoze people and not get called for anything :mjlit:
Commish Silver when he not on that genda (he's all over the place but that's not a bad thing to shake shyt and measure reaction to it)

i love it. the least racist of all the leagues. i'm black before everything so that shyt matters to me.

i love how difficult it is to make it in the NBA with so many people around the world playing the sport, there is an exclusivity about it. you're truly watching the best in the world execute their craft.

the juxtaposition of watching a game on tv vs courtside or near courtside it just amazing because these dudes are so tall and moving at such a high rate of speed. it's amazing.

the shooting the shooting the shooting. nothing really compares.

edit: switching defense is a thing of beauty when executed properly.

I’ll be honest, Im an NBA fan that hate watches the league these days. Been following the league since the early 90s and this is the least interested I’ve been in the NBA product.

The on court product for my tastes is pretty awful. This is least I’ve watched an NBA season since I’ve been a fan. The constant 3 point spamming is unwatchable to me. The players are whiney and entitled. Regular season ball is dead: rarely any defense or energy.

Im glad others fans enjoys the off court aspects of the league, but as far as personal enjoyment and entertainment (key word entertainment) the NFL and MLB are leaps and bounds more enjoyable.

This. 2014 Spurs sometimes were pure art. And when a great offense goes against a great defense it's like a 10 man choreography (that's why I wanted a Warriors-Celtics Finals).

Also the vast variety of offensive moves players can have. Jab step, spin-around, up and under, fadeaway, reverse lay-up, step-back...so many ways to actually score. And the "power" moves : dunking on someone or blocking a lay-up/dunk. And obviously ain't nothing like a buzzer-beater.

It’s crazy they actually proving your point. Some of these answers ain’t got shyt to do with the actual game

I dont even have a point. Im just generally curious cause everything is so negative i rarely see anyone enjoy the aspects of the game or players just a buncha trying to shyt on the next man. So I'm trying to see why they watch and what aspects they enjoy:manny:
