Calling people frauds when they lose and saying "don't ever compare him to some legendary player"

No other reason to watch if your favorite team isn't playing :lolbron:

Most importantly nobody in the NBA has ever taken hush money in order for racist emails to not surface
Sterling owned the Clips for 33 years. Richard DeVos owns the Magic. NFL owners ranked fourth in both overall contribution and donations to Republican causes behind the MLB, NBA and NHL the last 2 election cycles, even though like 90% of their donations went to R's. Pump the brakes. They're all POS

FR though basketball is the best sport. At its highest level, constant action, decisions being made every second, the feeling of your individual offensive skill or team concept just straight beating perfect defense, 1 on 1 take your manhood type matchups. It’s like the last 10 mins of a close champions league game for 2.5 hours.

And they got Sterling out the paint when that shyt came to surface

Bob McNair owned the Texans and called players inmates

Jerry Richardson was so flagrant he had to sell his team and they removed his statue from outside the stadium

NFL owners have fired black coaches after 1 season to hire NSync look-alike cacs

Brian Flores had to take legal action agaisnt racism and mistreatment

Should we continue?

It took them that long to get him out of there even with all the evidence. Even one of his fellow owners said it shouldn't have happen and set bad precedent. WTF is your point in all of this. They are all POS. No sense in this "our white folks better than they white folks" shyt you trying to prove here.

Those sterling stories had been around for year's tho man... Just saying...i do think the nba has been a little more actionable on inclusionary shyt and generally better from a responsiveness standpoint...but this is the league that brought us the “dress code” after all :mjpls:

Too many player fans/stans. The NBA created a monster with this (so I won't entirely blame the fans here). I only care about players getting money if they are actually going to produce relative to their ability. Guys who finesse a team and then tank it don't make me the least bit happy. They just make it so a more deserving player might not get paid and be forced to seek other opportunities.

I also dislike the balanced schedule. Divisions don't matter because you play every team in your conference, almost even. It wasn't like that in the 90's. Heat and Knicks used to play sometimes 5-6 times a season before a playoff series. Of course those games were heated. They were sick of seeing each other.

Dudes like when the players and teams they hate LOSE,imagine liking that about the NBA....nikkas are more joyous when cettain teams lose than seeing there fav team win....NBA fandom is perverse

I respect this about Raptors fans. In a way, they are totally like Lakers fans (in terms of mentality). If they had their way, they would compete for a title every year and damn everyone else. Guy is not producing, ship his ass out and get someone in here who can lift us to title contention. Screw being bad and screw being aight.

I honestly dont watch the NBA until after All Start break prior to that im all in on NFL. So I really dont notice all these proceedings existed about the NBA.
Lol cosign. Until NFL is over, I don't pay attention to the NBA besides staying up on a standings.

What made the NBA is what makes it suck. The push of individuals over team dynamics and overall promotion of the league. It's become very soap opera-ish.

Other than that it's pretty enjoyable, minus the dumb shots
Yeah I think this is why brothas like the NBA a lot similar to boxing. You can easily root for an individual and not a team. In the NFL, you really rooting for the entire squad/city and if a star player leaves, you still rooting for your team and not following where the star going.

I love basketball and The League is the highest level of the sport. Some people will say a certain artist or album is the soundtrack of their life. That's how I view the NBA.

There are so many moments I can track to a specific period or moment in my life (right down to where I was), good or bad. I have never fallen out of love with the game or The League.

Every other sport, I've gone through periods where I drift in and out at times. I'm always tuned in to what's going on in the NBA. That will never change. I am a lifer.

That one on one shyt.

Media likes to put up Brady vs Manning or Mahomes vs *hot QB* :hhh:

Or even worse a pitcher duel :comeon:

They don't even see each other on the field. And at least in football the QB can affect the time of possession of the other team.

As for basketball you see immediate and realtime competition:
Lebron went and switched onto Curry during the Finals.
Kobe hit a J over Ray Allen in 2010 then went to win Game 7.
2011 Dirk and the vets said nah fukk that we winning and did it themselves.
KD and Kyrie bet on themselves and flamed out hard.

Basketball has the most ownership of wins and losses in team sports. Obviously one-on-one sports has more at stake. But in basketball you talk shyt they gonna see you on the court face to face. I like that
