I didnt say that. I said the sport that has the ball in play for 40 minutes shouldnt be held hostage by teams hoarding timeouts for the final 2.
“What I would experiment with a little is there are just too many timeouts, especially down the stretch,” he said. “It’s such a fun, fast game. Then there’s one action and they score, OK. There’s a timeout and you sit for two minutes. There’s another action, score, tie it up. There’s no other sport where it’s interrupted so much at the end. That’s something that I would look at.
