These. I still don't get the logic of starting 2nd round series before the first round is over. They could have either just skipped Saturday and had the game 7s on Sunday and then started the 2nd round on Monday or had the teams that went 7 play a back to back on Saturday to get it over with.
It's not midnight in those cities breh (well not all of them at least). Most people in the eastern time zone wouldn't want games tipping at 4 or 5 during the week so why would you expect that to fly in the Pacific or Mountain time zones?

during the conference finals all western games start at 9pm (6pm) their time, so to me there really shouldn't be an issue starting these games at 9 (when there is 1 game on) or 9.30 (when there is a 7pm eastern game on).
They usually do start at 9:30 when you have a 7 pm game. Spurs/OKC started at 8 the other day when it was just one game.

Why do people always ask this? The games are in California. They would start at 5pm out there. Cats complain about driving in 5pm traffic all up and down the East Coast, what you think happens in the Bay Area? Games start at 7-7:30 LOCAL time, man.
Cats on the East Coast would cry if games in New York or DC started at 5pm as well. I swear sometime The Coliseum turns into The Salon. Complain about everything. Its not always about us, East Coast

I understand breh, but when its the countries top team everyone wants to see, why not have the games at a time that the most viewers can see? Obviously 5PM is early for a home game, maybe 6PM then? games starting, especially at 7:30 is 10:30 start on the East coast. Just all around bad for marketing. and the home crowd gonna support a team like GSW no matter what time the game starts

Again, nah. East coast games start here at 4, there's no reason there should be an overlap of games for west coast people because east coast people can't stay up.

the issue now is their scheduling cavs hawks game at 8 which should be at 7 to allow GS to play at 9.30.
Hawks and cavs are in the east coach timezone so really no reason to start games at 8
