Can you find and bump the thread from last year?
One of the luxuries that pro sports commentators and reporters have is that nobody remembers the things they were dead wrong about. It was true in my era, and in modern ADD social media era it's even more true.

Let's not let Coli members skate, too.
Just found another thread from last year that's as bad as anything. :francis:

lebrons image and legacy is in a free fall right now. His claim of goat status and legend and best player in the game is being shattered after every loss.

And everyday there are more people getting turned off by seeing him acting like a diva, caring more about off-season activities, throwing team under the bus and not putting 100% for the lakers.

Are people about to see for what he really is? And will this be the biggest fall of any superstar ever??
Let's just consider his legacy in LA. He went to a premier franchise full of legendary players who came to LA and won chips. It's early but at this point I think you can call it: he's not winning a chip in LA brehs. What does that do to his legacy? He will have gone into the house of Magic, Wilt, Kareem, Jerry, Shaq and Kobe and won nothing. How does he survive that?

He can pretend all he wants that he doesn't care but we all know it's a lie. This is a disaster for him and it's gonna eat at his soul.
Lebron is on Jordan Wizards status.

Still got game but cant elevate his team enough to get to the playoffs. Always outside looking in and looks a step or two slow and flabby and sick
Dude had a nice run during his prime, but also some career lows during his prime as well. Those are just not GOAT things to me.

Maybe folks overrated and are overrating him a little bit tbh.
Lakers should just trade that nikka for key pieces to help that young core in the long run.

Magic thought bringing LeBron in was going to be an automatic finals appearance and instant ring.

:russ:
By the end of this, Magic will be a villain in the city he built. That’s how toxic Lebron is :mjlol:
LBJ situation will get ugly, if he doesn't get his ego under control.
Magic can salvage this if he fires Luke, and makes LeBron address Lonzo and say he is stepping down in what he does and will support the young guys as they build for the future, like Kareem did with Magic and Shaq did with Wade.
There era of LBJ being the best player in basketball, who can turn it on and turn it off, and can will a team is over.
LOSING LONZO HAS LITERALLY BEEB WORSE THAN LOSING BRONZE
ACT LIKE U KNOW

LEBRON CAME IN TO LA AND CRUSHED THE BUILDINGS

REMEMBER LAST YEAR HOW FUN THIS TEAM WAS? CHEMISTRY THROUGH THE ROOF .. KUZ, ZO, INGRAM, HART CLOWNIN ON INSTAGRAM, JUST HAVIN A GOOD TIME DOIN THEIR THING..

LEBRON CAME THRU WIT HIS PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE HOE SHIIT, TRIED GETTIN EVERY1 TRADED, DEFLECTS BLAME, DEFLATES EVERYONES JOY, AND STR8 UP DEMOLISHES THE TEAM CHEMISTRY

AND THEN U HAVE THE NERVE TO ASK WHY THEYRE NOT WINNING? LMAO

I SAW THIS COMING.. I WARNED EVERYONE. BUT THESE NICK WRIGHT IDIOTS REFUSED TO LISTEN.
HE'S ALREADY OUT THE TOP 10.... THIS IS PUTTIN HIM OUT THE TOP 20 IF WE BEIN REAL WIT IT

The Spurs will be a 6 seed or higher and the way they utilize their depth and rotations will set a new template for team building in the "post-superteam" era.
This is my hot take. Spurs will be this year’s 2020 Thunder.

We’re crowning Lebron’s Laker stint a success after a Pandemic shortened, Bubble championship? :gucci:
You complain that LeBron makes too many excuses yet when you wrong you cop pleas like a motherfukker. :lolbron:

Breh, you said LeBron was so toxic he'd make Magic a villain in his own city. Now LeBron guaranteed a title for Kobe, fulfilled his promise, and got AD signed there long-term for LA's future too. Give it up, you're hatership lost again.

Here's another one from last year. :umad:
If you value Lebron on his way out, making movies and tv for the next 4 years with zero chance at a title over Kawhi for the next 8 with young guys developing then :yeshrug:

You've been doing this forever. Here's from March 2016.
Where has being ball dominant gotten Lebron? The main issue this cavs team has is Lebron. His already small skill set is getting worse by the year and he refuses to let guys play their game. He wants the ball in his hand and he wants to make every assist. When has Lebron ever made the pass that leads to the pass, I.e. Hockey assist? He never does because he wants everything his way.

The cavs have no chance with Lebron playing like he does.
Must burn your soul to hate so hard and be so wrong. :heh:

You’re vindicating Lebron off a ring nobody wanted except him :russ: against a team that wouldn’t have made it out the second round under regular circumstances :mjlol:

If they lose this year, so what right? You Lebron guys have the same argument every year: if he wins, he’s the greatest of all time against all the odds. If he loses, his legacy is already solidified so it doesn’t matter anyway and he needed more help. Rinse and repeat.

If Anthony Davis doesn’t win another ring for the Lakers, he was a success too right?

Though i know he has years left on his contract KAT needs to ask out of Minnesota after the season so they can fully rebuild with picks and the young players they already have. And he needs a fresh start and a chance to shine on a national level. Which by the time if at all that the Timberwolves get it together he might be near or over 30 at that point. The Warriors won't make the playoffs but they will be competitive most nights once they gel and once Kerr finds the right lineup. And Wiseman is looking like the truth so far which is even more amazing considering he didn't really play college basketball last year.

Look at you coping more pleas, "only LeBron" wanted a title now. Giannis and Middleton wanted to lose early and be considered a failure, Kawhi and PG13 wanted to blow a 3-1 lead and be roundly mocked across LA, Harden and Westbrook wanted to be seen as perennial losers once again, Murray and Jokic weren't trying to dig deep for clutch performances they just happened, Tatum, Brown, and Kemba wanted to lose that series to the Heat, and Jimmy Butler, Bam, and Herro weren't giving effort on the court at all.

When you claim LeBron always has excuses you're projecting like a motherfukker. :mjlol:

You're just making up bullshyt. I said already last year after he won that it wasn't "against all the odds" and didn't do much to change his legacy. At this point in his career he's already proven so much that extra titles barely make a difference.

If he loses, his legacy is already solidified so it doesn’t matter anyway and he needed more help. Rinse and repeat.
LeBron is 36yo in his 18th NBA season. He's doubled his titles since the day you claimed he'd never win again playing his brand of bball. He now is 3rd all-time in MVPs behind just KAJ and MJ, 2nd all-time in Finals MVPs behind MJ alone. Only player in history to lead 3 different teams to a title, only player in history to beat a 70+ win team, only player in history to come back from 3-1 in the Finals. Yeah, his legacy is solidified.
