You had no point.

I said MJ was the most accomplished NBA player. Now I should've said, his accomplishments were the most well rounded.

Wilt has the stats, but only 2 rings and less MVPs

Russell has the rings, but primarily a defensive player and rebounder, with less MVPs

Kareem has one more MVP, but Jordan has more Finals MVPs. They have an equal amount of rings (6). Kareem won a ring in his 2nd season, but didn't win again until he teamed up with Magic 8-9 years later, and was no longer in his prime (but still a great player). By Kareem playing such a long time, it added to his achievements, but after the age of 34-35, he was no longer dominant. At 34-35, Jordan won a 6th ring and was still the best player in the league.

You may vouch for Kareem, I'm vouching for MJ. I wouldn't be mad either way, but MJ is the GOAT in MY opinion.

Russell has as many MVPs as Jordan

How can you blame Kareem for not winning during his prime years when he simply did not have enough support to win? It makes as little sense as blaming Jordan for not winning from 1984-90. In fact, if Pippen never showed up, Jordan would have suffered the same fate as Kareem: he would have spent his prime lifting mediocre teams to the playoffs only to come up short against more talented teams.

Kareem was not putting up the all-around numbers he put up in his prime once he reached his mid 30s. But he commanded double-teams until he was pushing 40. Go watch the 1982 Finals and note the lengths the Philadelphia defense went to in order to try containing a 35 year-old Kareem. Their entire defense was focused on stopping him! Watch the 1985 Finals and note how a 38-year-old Kareem was the best player on the court, even among Larry Bird and Magic Johnson in their primes!
