NBA Live delayed to October 28th

It gotta have something to do with that Ignite Engine EA is using. I noticed all of their next gen sports games are missing some type of customization feature

doesn't look quite on 2k level but it does look like they are making progress. I wouldn't be suprised if next year's version is really competitive at least from a gameplay/graphics perspective...but then still it's probably gonna be lacking in features compared to 2k.

This looks much better than last year's but it don't take much for that LOL.

Well 2k don't care to test themselves anymore so EA has a good chance to catch up , they just keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Live is straight status. And its been that way since nba 2k came and crushed the buildings over 10 years ago

gameplay video actually looks good to me, looks like you won't get saved by animations that much in live. Movement looks sloppy cuz of the person playing.
Graphics don't even look bad it's just different from 2K
the dunk animations looks "ehh" tho

Nah, another year out of the game will bury that franchise forever. It HAS to come out, even if its terrible.

EA finished their NBA franchise because they were too lazy to encourage innovation like NBA 2K

Don't get what you nikkas want? It looks like a typical EA game for me. People are just stuck on 2Ks nuts. They're trying to make a game that came be on the same level as 2K but not look like a blatant rip off or copy. Its just not working out. Its sad because EA is shytting on 2K servers. Plus they got lobbies. They just need to team up. Let 2k handle the animations and shyt. Let EA people don't the online shyt

This game will be competitive in a year or two IF they keep up with this level of progress from last years version...watch. And i swear im not ovethrowing things because ive hated live since 05 and last years version is one of the worst looking and playing basketball games relative to their times ive ever played (the demo at least). The atmosphere and player graphics are a HUGE step up from last year...from what i can tell by these short vids the players models need a little more proportion work and they need more transition animations to make the animations look a little more natural. Obviously they need a lot of the bells and whistles 2k already has as well. The faces and facial animations are actually not that far from 2k and to me thats suprising considering 2k14 faces and animations are LIGHT YEARS ahead of live 14.

first thing i noticed in the first clip. if that happened in 2k, ariza woulda slid a few feet and pivoted simultaneously to get back into the play forcing you into an unnecessary animation.
