NBA Live delayed to October 28th

Those videos were horrible. I know some of you guys are tired of 2k but in those clips, the man around the screen got waaaaaaaaaaaay open, just very unrealistic. The game looks dated and it hasn't even come out yet and just got delayed. I would love nothing more than when I get tired of 2k, to tune in and play something similar but different and this aint it. I did like how Harden went to the hole but everything afterwards was meh. Should change its name to NBA :

I tried the NBA Live 14 demo and it has a lot of good things going for it, the animations need a lot of work but the actual gameplay is solid (aside from rebounding). There are a few things it does considerably better than NBA 2k, one of which is the lack of suction when it comes to the animations, no canned animations.

The 2k series is getting stale as fukk, the only thing new with 2k14 were the graphics on the whole it was the same gameplay engine we've been playing for 10 years now.

Live needs more of the small detail animations..like how players bring the ball down court..or how they turn and run in transition..off ball contact animations..etc. Thats the reason why in these gameplay vids at times it looks robotic animation wise. They need to add more animations without sacrificing control..something that 2k made the mistake of many times even though it gets a little better every year.

The rebounding is infuriating, but the game has shown promise. The problem with EA is the rushed feeling all their games get...thus it takes years for things to fully flesh out. They obviously made some great changes with the facial models, but still needs more work. It almost feels like they will focus on one aspect of the game at a year and then keep it moving. At this pace they won't be able to really hold competition to 2K until late 2016

Their online servers are solid...too bad nobody plays this shyt online. The camera also gets stuck at times and will NOT fix itself even if you switch to another one...you have to quit the game and go back in

That's the problem with 2K tho. Too many small animations that become over excessive and lead to canned animations and instances of you asking asking yourself why the fukk would I do that?

Like for example. You drive dish it out to your big man. He does the most unnecessary slow drawn out double clutch reverse layup that just gets block by a fukking PG. Where he should of just rose up over the damn PG and lay it up. This happens alot

also, we are less than 3 weeks from preseason and when 2k drops, and live doesn't even have the announcers in the game????
