It took Toronto 20 years to have all star players that's willing to stay and build with the team. Free agents that sign with the raptors are of the Landry fields Cory Joseph variety. Having a team in Vancouver would be an even larger competitive disadvantage, especially if the team isn't competitive immediately (it won't as an expansion team).
(even though you are wrong)

who cares if it has been 20 years....

RIGHT NOW, players don't have problems playing in Canada, in fact lots of players claim Toronto as one of their favorite cities to visit(during the season and after)

Vancouver, is just a nicer, warmer version of Toronto.

Also, guys like you act like players don't want to play in Canada as the only option. How many free agents are lining up to play in Minnesota, Milwaukee, Indianapolis or hell look at Philly??

It all comes down to management and money.

look into expanding while your talent pool is already thinned out brehs...:snoop:
this is true. but it so fukked up why this is the case.

I mean its 2016 and there are far more players playing basketball than ever before. Add on to the international players and there really is no excuse for this....unless...

there is a systematic problem with the NBA. Too many young players are being forced to play, not enough time to develop players anymore. They cost too much to just put them in the dleague or ride the bench and take sparse minutes.

To many 1st year college players, too many high schoolers(not anymore, but those problems still exist, and have been a problem)

I don't think it matters so much that the talent is thinned out, its more so the fact that the talent is there, but undeveloped.

The raptors have had a host of different heads of basketball operations in Toronto. Who's the best player the raptors have signed as a free agent from a different team since 1995? Don't tell me it's sullinger

they need to contract and relocate teams

relocate the clippers to seattle

contract

atlanta
orlando
minnesota
sacramento
utah
bucks
charlotte
brooklyn
denver
pelicans

get rid of conferences and divisions.

with 20 teams, each team plays eachother 4 times for a 78 game schedule.

the top 8 seeds make the playoffs with the following format

1st round - best of 5
2nd round - best of 5
finals - best of 7

Hakeem Olajuwon?
Mark Jackson?

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
nerlens noel was the 6th overall pick. Embiid was the 3rd overall pick, not the 30th pick. So i dont see your point. You wont find them late

yea you named some good players. But its very rare to find players like green when youre picking that late. Otherwise teams would just trade down all the time if they could get someone like green or butler. 2013 draft was just awful

There just isnt enough talent to sustain 30 teams. 5 teams from the west have made it to the finals since 1999. Youre telling me teams couldnt draft or develop players all those years? product is bad now, but itll be even worse with expansion so fukk that

Make up your mind, you tried to act like the Sixers don't have talent when they do, now your point is that it's rare to find talent outside the lottery? You're out of your element here, it's not rare to find talented players late in the draft, it's why teams place so much value in late first rounders now.I named some good players? Bruh I named all-stars, a all-nba first teamer and gold medalists :dead:

The 2013 draft wasn't awful, you clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about especially since the 2013 draft is like a shining example of finding players outside the top 10 :russ:

Giannis Antetokounmpo 15th
Dennis Schroeder 17th
Rudy Gobert 27th
Andre Roberson 26th
Allen Crabbe 31st

You have a potential superstar taken 15th, a starting PG, a potential DPOY, an elite defender and a high value rotational player. The talent pool for basketball on a global scale can support 30 teams, hence every team now having 1-2 good players.

If we're being honest, there has never been a larger talent pool for NBA basketball.

Yeah the US population has grown a lot (obvious) but when you combine that with players from Africa, Asia, Europe, etc the talent pool for basketball is bigger now than its ever been.

What's up with KC not seriously pushing for a NBA team anyway? :jbhmm:
Why build a NBA-ready arena but still have no NBA team?

They had the Kings before they moved to Sacto because the attendance was abysmal. That was before the relocation talks surfaced. Plus The area is too much into College sports and the Chiefs to support NBA basketball.

Something tells me they are going to have a idaho team :francis:
I love the Jazz, this isn't throwing shade, but if the Jazz can't get back to being a power since their 90's prime, I see zero chance (and zero need) for an Idaho team to find success. They'd be just another middling team with no shot at a title, no shot at a conference title
