Like it makes sense in College Basketball cause there’s 300 D1 teams so you got multiple tournaments during the holiday season. I don’t see the benefit of it in the NBA

Easy optics. The league has to make it seem like they’re trying to address the load management issue to TV Right bidders and they believe the tournament is a way to do that.

Kind of a "boring" CBA because they didn't touch the one and done.

Contract extensions being incentivized over free agency signings means we'll be seeing a lot more roster turnover due to teams playing hardball in contract negotiations.

Vet players are already complaining about how young & inexperienced some locker rooms are, I don’t think they’re motivated to make the league even younger

I still think part of that is these kids are better suited to playing in the modern league and we’re seeing more one-sided guys not finding spots on teams like they use to.

Most these kids are two way players and their outside shots aren't completely broken. That wasn't the norm even 10 years ago.
